Houston Rockets: Who is The Most Desirable Player on the Aging, Sub .500 Team?

Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is slowly easing back into things, but the Rockets are mired in an extremely disappointing season.

They are 8-13 and even though they've won three of their last four (with a surprise win over the Lakers), they are going to have a terribly tough time contending in the ultra-competitive Southwest.

It's probably impossible to move a player with Ming's contract (not that they'd want to deal away their only star, anyway) but there are a few other pieces on this team that would be attractive to teams around the league.

Kelvin Martin and Aaron Brooks have too bright a future with the team to deal them. And Kyle Lowry has been very impressive while Brooks is recovering from his ankle.

Luis Scola would draw interest from playoff teams looking to add to their front court, but they probably could never get fair value for him: he's not a star but his production has been great this season.

Shane Battier might be the man who moves on. His contract isn't ridiculously high (although he is making more than $7 million this year) and he could be the type of three point shooter that a team like the Heat are searchin ...
