Denver Nuggets center Joffrey Lauvergne is dealing with a back injury that's forcing him to the sidelines during the early parts of the 2015-16 season.

Before the Nuggets' game on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reported that Lauvergne will not be playing because of "back issues." No timetable for a return has been announced.
According to RotoWire (via CBSSports.com), Lauvergne has been dealing with back problems throughout the preseason and was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Per Dempsey, Lauvergne was able to get through some portions of the team's shootaround earlier on Tuesday.
In just his second season in the league, Lauvergne has started all three games for the Nuggets this season, averaging 10.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds.
The Frenchman was feeling comfortable in Denver leading into the season as he has had an opportunity to show off his scoring ability and solid play down low. Lauvergne spoke with Kevin Henry of Examiner. ...
