Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett has always been full of crazy quotes, so it shouldn't surprise many that he was able to come up with a bizarre analogy to describe his team.
It's just what he does.
On Thursday, Garnett talked about what it's like to be teammates with so many young players. That's when the 39-year-old forward gave everyone quite a visual while describing the youthful Timberwolves.
In other words, don't ask Garnett to dog-sit for you or see if he wants to go to Petland to play with puppies.
Garnett, a 21-year veteran, has taken on the role of mentor in Minnesota. He knew what his role was going to be when the Brooklyn Nets traded him to the Timberwolves last season. He also knows it's a process and that there will be growing pains along the way.
Now, Garnett is doing what he can to help his team full of young pups transform into the NBA's top dogs.
