"Kurt Rambis says the Knicks' medical staff doesn't see [Porzingis'] lower leg injury as a severe one," according to ESPN.com's Ian Begley. "He's officially day to day."

Per the Knicks' media staff, Porzingis will not play on Saturday against Detroit.
Porzingis Impressive for Knicks During Rookie Season
While his performance has slowed down after a hot start, Porzingis has shown the potential Knicks fans have been searching for from a first-round draft pick. He responded from a poor December, in which he shot 41.8 percent overall, to get back up over 43 percent in January and February.
Porzingis did give New York a scare on Jan. 18 against Philadelphia, leaving the game with a foot injury, but he did not miss any time.
