LeBron James Saga: Some Big Names Will Get You Nowhere

There are three things I can name right off the top of my head that I could say are useless in New York: a car, good manners, and other New Yorkers trying to persuade LeBron James to sign with the Knicks.

With roughly three weeks left until NBA free agency opens, ESPNNewYork.com's Andrew Marchand wrote an article stating that Knicks president Donnie Walsh wants as many New Yorkers as possible to help convince James to choose Madison Square Garden when NBA free agency opens.

According to Marchand, Walsh is trying to get players from the New York Yankees to recruit LeBron James, and persuade him to move his career to New York.

"If there's Yankees that want to help us, we would involve them," Walsh simply stated.

The speculation about LeBron moving has been in discussion for the last three years. There's been talk about him being able to play in Madison Square Garden (the Mecca of basketball) with the fans behind him.
