Thanks in large part to a huge third quarter, the Los Angeles Clippers cruised by the Dallas Mavericks 109-90 on Monday at American Airlines Arena.
The Clippers (41-21) were led by Chris Paul, who finished with 27 points and seven assists. DeAndre Jordan added 23 points and 20 rebounds and did a solid job responding to the hack-a-DeAndre strategy. He was 11-of-19 from the line. J.J. Redick rounded out the Big Three's night with 22 points on 14 shots.
The Mavericks (33-31) were led by Dirk Nowitzki, who had 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting. David Lee had 13 points and eight rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench.
The Clippers lead the four-game season series 2-1. The final matchup is set for April 10 in Los Angeles.
