Miami Heat at Los Angeles Clippers: Heat Go For 14th Straight Road Win

The Miami Heat will look to tie a franchise record when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night. The Heat have won 13 straight on the road, just one win of tying the franchise record set back in 1996. Miami still has three games left on their road trip, and if they can win them all, they will tie the NBA record set by the Los Angeles Lakers back in the 1971-72 season.

It hasn't been easy for the Heat in their last two road games, as they have needed overtime to win both.While the Clippers are just 12-24 this season, they won 105-91 against the Warriors on Sunday, and are 7-3 in their last 10 games. Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's games, the oddsmakers have the Heat favored by 7.5-points with the total sitting at 194.

Not only have the Heat been impressive on the road lately, they are 21-1 in their last 22 games, and with the Celtics loss at home to the Rockets on Monday, they sit alone atop the Eastern Conference and are just 2.5 games behind the San Antonio Spurs for the best record in the NBA.
