It would appear that Michael Jordan has not given up on the young man he picked number one overall in 2001 with the Wizards.
Kwame Brown has just signed a deal (years and salary not released at this time) with the Charlotte Bobcats.
Brown was the first high schooler drafted number one overall in 2001 when he was selected by the Washington Wizards (Jordan had a small steak in the team) and went on to have a very lackluster career in D.C. before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Last season Brown appeared in 48 games with the Detroit Pistons and averaged just 3.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game.
I hope for Kwame, as well as the Bobcats, that being reunited with the man who drafted him does something for his production in a roll that is sure to be off of the bench.
