ESPN's Chris Broussard and Marc Stein have reported that Dwyane Wade met with LeBron James and Chris Bosh this past weekend in Miami, discussing the possibility that the trio would all sign with the Heat.
This mini-summit occurred after reports had previously claimed that many members of the vaunted free agent class of 2010 would meet to discuss their futures and the possibility that they would play with one another.
Additionally, the announcement of this meeting comes on the heels of Fox Sports' Stephen A. Smith stating that the three All-Stars will play together next season in Miami.
Therefore, this free agent conference has the potential to drastically alter the NBA landscape for the 2010-11 season. Were Wade, James, and Bosh all to sign with the Heat, that franchise would bear a striking resemblance to the 2008 U.S. Men's Olympic team and undoubtedly become the favorite to win the championship.
Furthermore, the emergence of the Heat as a possible free agent destination effectively casts doubt upon previous reports, which claimed that James and Bosh have already decided that they would join the Chicago Bulls.
