The gunslingers of the NBA are polarizing figures in the league.
Take too many attempts, and you may shoot your team out of a game. Shoot too little, and your team may fall short of a victory.
Players eligible for the ranking needed to have a minimum of 16 field goal attempts per game.
Now, when devising the rankings for this list, the main aspects that I took into consideration was their field goal attempts, free throw attempts and field goal percentage.
The formula: field goal attempts + ( free throw attempts / 2 ) x field goal percentage = volume shooting efficiency rating (VSER).
My volume shooting efficiency formula may not be an exact science, but I found it to be a fair way to assess the effectiveness for volume shooters.
