Dwyane Wade and the Big Three's first experience together on the court with the Miami Heat lasted exactly three minutes and 17 seconds.
Wade came up lame while chasing Detroit's Richard Hamilton around screens early in the first quarter. The prognosis for his injured hamstring is around two weeks, meaning he should be back in time for the start of the regular season.
Elsewhere, Carmelo Anthony remains in Denver, and is expected to take the court when the Nuggets open the preseason Friday against the Blazers at the Pepsi Center.
