There is more news on the Carmelo Anthony trade front.
Reports are now surfacing that the proposed deal that would send Anthony to the Nets may not happen for at least a month's time and much closer to the NBA trade deadline of February 24th.
There are several logistical issues to hammer out in the deal, including how the Nets could pull the trigger, considering they may have as few as five players on the roster with all of the pieces involved should one of the proposed scenarios be agreed upon.
The soon-to-be Brooklyn bound franchise would create their own version of the "Big Three" in the East, although it wouldn't be quite as threatening as either Boston or Miami.
The Nets would haul in Carmelo Anthony, veteran point guard Chauncey Billups and prolific swingman Richard Hamilton to create a dynamic scoring threat to pair with Melo.
The entire deal would reportedly involve an incredible 13 players, so it's easy to see that this won't be all too easy to pull off in a quick fashion.
