New York Knicks vs. Brooklyn Nets 12/11: Video Highlights and Recap

The New York Knicks (16-5) came from 17 down to beat the 11-9 Brooklyn Nets, 100-97, in Brooklyn on Tuesday night. 

Jason Kidd drilled a three with 24 seconds left, and that proved to be the game winner, but it was Carmelo Anthony who was the Knicks' hero. 

'Melo scored a season-high 45 points as he helped the Knicks survive a slow start. Brooklyn carried a 30-16 lead into the start of the second quarter, but New York outscored their rival 33-23 in that quarter to narrow the gap. 

The outcome has to hurt the sinking Nets as it was their fifth straight loss.

Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony

Anthony poured in 45 points in 44 minutes, and he did so efficiently. He was 15-of-24 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also added five boards and three assists. 

 

What's Next?

After spending the majority of this month on the road, the Knicks return home to take on the Lakers on Thursday night and kick off a six-game home stand.
