The New York Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-97 on Saturday night behind 26 points and seven rebounds from Carmelo Anthony.
The Knicks (24-40) have now won three games in a row while the Cavaliers (24-40) have lost four straight and seven of their last nine.
Aside from Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire was huge in his third straight start, racking up 17 points on 7-of-16 shooting, 12 rebounds (six offensive) and three blocks in 28 minutes.
Tyson Chandler was terrific as well, posting a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds (five offensive). As a team, the Knicks shot 43 percent from the floor, 45 percent from three and out-rebounded the Cavaliers by 12 overall and four on the offensive glass.
After the Cavs cut the deficit to one point after three quarters, the Knicks closed things out by dropping 30 points in the fourth quarter, the second period in which Mike Woodson's squad totaled at least 30 points.
Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 30 points while accruing a game-high eight assists and pulling down eight rebounds.
