Orlando Magic star Nikola Vucevic is quickly developing into one of the NBA's premier centers, but the fifth-year pro is currently slowed by a groin injury.

Vucevic Ruled Out for Monday's Game
Monday, March 7
Orlando will face the defending champion Golden State Warriors without Vucevic. Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel confirmed the news and said Jason Smith will fill in as the starting center.
Robbins added the injury has bugged him since before the All-Star break, and the pain has gotten worse of late.
The young, talented Magic are still learning how to win, but they have a legitimate stud in the form of Vucevic. He is averaging 17.8 points, nine rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game this season after enjoying a career year in 2014-15 to the tune of 19.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per contest.
Vucevic has experienced a great deal of individual success since entering the NBA as a first-round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2011, but the 25-year-old veteran is ready to translate that into victories for the Magic.
