Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo suffered a fractured leg and will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season.

Mayo Done for Season After Falling Down Stairs Thursday, March 10  The Bucks released a statement on Mayo's leg: "Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo suffered a fractured right ankle on Thursday morning and will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season, general manager John Hammond announced [on Thursday]. Mayo accidentally tripped descending his stairs at home."

The Vertical's Shams Charania reported that Mayo may undergo surgery.

Mayo a Major Loss for Depleted Bucks Backcourt  Mayo's season-ending injury is a difficult setback for Milwaukee’s backcourt depth.

He averaged 11.4 points a night for the Bucks last season, which marked the seventh consecutive campaign in which the former USC Trojan scored in double figures. Prior to fracturing his leg, he was averaging a career-low 7.8 points while shooting 37.1 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three.
