Tim Duncan showed up in memorable fashion for San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.
With 4.6 seconds to go, Duncan dunked over Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert to give the Spurs a one-point lead.
On the other end, T.J. Ford missed a jumper at the buzzer, giving the Spurs a victory and coach Popovich his 700th.
Popovich became the 16th coach in NBA history to reach 700 wins. He is also among seven current head coaches to reach the milestone.
The other active coaches include Larry Brown, George Karl, Jerry Sloan, Phil Jackson, Rick Adelman, and Don Nelson.
Popovich and Adelman's teams are in the same conference, so they will see each other often, knowing that both have reached the milestone.
It took Popovich 1,040 games to get to 700 victories, for a winning percentage of .673. If you're looking for a coach to build a franchise team with, Popovich is the guy.
He has led the Spurs to four NBA Championships in his 14 seasons as head coach. With 700 wins under his belt, Popovich looks to take the Spurs to the playoffs once again.
