The Orlando Magic will go for their 10th straight win tonight when they take on the New Orleans Hornets on the road. Orlando comes in off a 117-107 win at Dallas, and it's hard to remember that Orlando had lost eight of nine before going on this tear.
The Hornets come in with some momentum, as they went into Denver and beat the Nuggets 96-87 on Sunday. This is the first meeting between these two teams this season, and our NBA spreads have the Magic favored by 3.5 points over the Hornets, with the total sitting at 190 points.
This will be a real test for Orlando, as they haven't exactly played a solid team on the road during their winning streak. Wins at Cleveland and New Jersey are nothing special, and their last one came against a Mavericks team that was without their best player, Dirk Nowitzki.
Still, it's hard to argue with the success the Magic has had lately: Orlando has won all nine games by at least 10 points or more. And it's not just one guy, it's the whole team playing well.
