I know it’s still the preseason, but seriously, it sometimes gets annoying when your favorite team keeps losing. The Indiana Pacers lost their third straight preseason game, going 0-3 as they lost to the improved 2-1 Houston Rockets, 126-92.

Luis Scola scored 23 points in the matchup. Point guard Aaron Brooks added 17 points, as he mainly lit it up in the third quarter, going in for nine points.

It was all good by halftime, with the Pacers only down, 57-54. But the Rockets quickly went on a run, led by Kevin Martin and Brooks, as they outscored the Pacers 33-15 in the third quarter. Indiana didn’t score until there was 2:34 left in the quarter.

Martin tallied up his total to 16 points. Chase Budinger added 15, Courtney Lee with 12, and Yao Ming with 10.

Roy Hibbert, who has been a very improved center, led the Pacers with 17 points. All-Star small forward Danny Granger put up 16.

Indiana will face the Minnesota Timberwolves next on Oct. 13.
