Millsap will return to full basketball activity in three weeks, per NBA.com.
“After reviewing the options with Paul to treat his knee and provide him the best long-term care, we agreed, largely due to the time of year, that this was the best method and time to ensure his complete readiness for the start of the regular season,” president of basketball operations and head coach Mike Budenholzer said.
Millsap doesn't receive nearly enough credit nationally for his play. He's a driving force for the Hawks at both ends of the floor, as evidenced by the fact he rates as one of the league's best power forwards in Player Efficiency Rating, according to ESPN.com.
