Robert Covington Injury: Updates on 76ers F’s Potential Concussion and Return

Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington left Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets on a stretcher after a scary collision with teammate Jerami Grant.

He has been released from the hospital but remains in the concussion protocol, per Spike Eskin of Sports Radio 94 WIP in Philadelphia. It is unclear exactly when he will be able to return to the court.

Latest on Covington's Timeline to Return Saturday, March 12 Tom Moore of Calkins Media reported Covington will miss at least two games with the injury, noting he was temporarily in a neck brace while in the hospital.

Covington Leaves Court on Stretcher Friday, March 11 Grant inadvertently kicked Covington in the jaw during a bang-bang play when he was on the outer edge of the paint.
