In a preseason game that was over almost before it even started, the Golden State Warriors smacked the Houston Rockets, 123-101, Thursday at Oracle Arena.
With several stars out for the Rockets, including James Harden, Dwight Howard, Ty Lawson and Trevor Ariza, the Warriors were able to drop 82 points in the first half.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined to score 35 points on 11-of-14 shooting. Curry added six assists.
Neither Splash Brother played in the second half, as roster hopefuls battled through 24 minutes of garbage time to close the game.
Houston was led by K.J. McDaniels, who scored 20 points on 4-of-11 shooting.
