San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns: Spurs Huge Favorites at Home Over Suns

The San Antonio Spurs are set to host the short-handed Phoenix Suns tonight, as the Suns just recently made a trade that sent Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu and Earl Clark to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus and Marcin Gortat.

It's unlikely the three new additions will be able to play tonight, but the Suns were able to pull off a 113-110 win at Oklahoma City last night. Beating the Spurs on the road will be no easy task, as San Antonio is 14-2 at home this season, and have won eight straight overall. 

This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season, San Antonio  won 112-110 at Phoenix back on Nov. 3.

Looking at the NBA spreads for the game tonight, the oddsmakers aren't giving Phoenix much of a chance at all in this one, as the Spurs come in favored by 12 points over Suns at home.

The Suns got a big time performance from Grant Hill last night, as he scored a game-high 30 points on 9-17 shooting and also led the Suns with 11 rebounds. Hill has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last 15 games and will need another strong night offensively if the Suns are goi ...
