Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry already broke the record for the most three-pointers in a season Feb. 27, but he reached another milestone by recording his 300th make from downtown in a 119-113 victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday, per the Warriors.
After breaking his own record, Curry also tied the NBA single-game record with 12 three-pointers in an overtime win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Feb. 27. He now owns the top three seasons in NBA history in terms of three-pointers made:
Despite losing Sunday to the Los Angeles Lakers—who had only 12 wins—Golden State is on pace to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record of 72 wins in a season thanks in large part to Curry. The 2014-15 NBA MVP was averaging a league-high 30.5 points to go along with 6.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game heading into Monday night's contest.
