But maybe it’s also because Houston doesn’t want to give up any major pieces of their current success, as Rockets general manager Daryl Morey seems more than happy with his current team.
I could be completely wrong, as I am rarely correct when it comes to making calls such as this one.
However, I do know one thing is certain: this Rockets team thrives on clubhouse chemistry and Morey isn’t about to screw that up.
With Houston finally taking control late in the third quarter against Milwaukee, dominating the Bucks in the second half of play, tomorrow’s trade deadline still looms.
Will Houston’s Rockets make a blockbuster trade and rid themselves of their disgruntled star in Tracy McGrady?
Only time will tell, but at this time early reports indicate the Chicago Bulls have dropped out of the T-Mac sweepstakes and the New York Knicks may be bluffing in terms of their latest offers including draft picks.
Regardless of what happens come deadline tomorrow afternoon, Morey and the Rockets are still in great position to make a solid run in the West.
