For the second game in a row, the Golden State Warriors got a scare but survived, this time against the Toronto Raptors. The Warriors won 115-110 on Tuesday night.
Golden State (12-0) was led by Stephen Curry, who dropped 37 points on 13-of-23 shooting and dished out nine assists. He also had a season-high seven turnovers, which helped the Raptors (7-5) erase an 18-point deficit in the second half. In the end, his sweet shooting stroke trumped his mistakes.
Klay Thompson joined Curry in double figures, scoring 18 of his 19 points in the first half. Andrew Bogut pitched in with 13 points and six rebounds.
Toronto was led by its starting guards, as Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan each scored 28. Lowry got his 28 on 15 shots, while DeRozan led the Raptors with six assists.
DeMarre Carroll added 17 points and six steals in the loss. It was his best performance as a member of the Raptors.
Toronto will get its only regular-season shot at revenge against Golden State on Dec. 5 at the Air Canada Centre.
