2010 NHL Mock Draft: The Battle of Two Future Stars- Hall vs. Seguin

In less than two weeks, the NHL's annual entry draft will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. From a talent perspective, the 2010 edition looks like one of the deepest in years, yet all the talk seems to be surrounding two young phenoms --Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin. The two Canadian 18 year olds are both elite level talents that could prove to be franchise changers in a few years time. It's a pretty done deal that they will end up in Edmonton and Boston, but just who goes where is still up for debate. With the no. 1 pick, the Oilers hold the key to the draft and it should be interesting to see which player they select and how the rest of the draft plays out from there. The NHL differs from more popular drafts like the NFL and NBA because the majority of the players selected won't be heard from anytime soon as they go and develop in the minor leagues. It's almost impossible to predict which players will go to which teams, but there is a good feel for when you'll see certain prospects come off the board.
