A Look at the New York Rangers Rumored 3rd Jersey

  Reebok is unveiling a new line of jersey’s for next season and the Rangers are among the teams getting a new alternative jersey. The company has not made it official, but rumors are swirling that the new jersey is going to look exactly like the current one, except instead of “RANGERS” written across the front it will say “NEW YORK.”

Icethetics has the breakdown on the rest of the new jerseys, so if you are interested you should definitely check it out. Here’s what they had to say about the Rangers new duds:

I think it would disappoint a lot of Rangers fans and Icethetics readers. The Rangers arguably had the best third jersey of the ’90s with that Statue of Liberty logo emblazoned on the front.

Those navy blue sweaters were so popular that in 1998 the Rangers even added a white version for a short time. They were used up until 2007 when Reebok took over the league.
