Canadiens’ P.K. Subban Meets Baby Accidentally Hit by Souvenir Puck

What started with an unfortunate accident has ended on a high note.

Montreal Canadiens star P.K. Subban found himself in a rough spot a few weeks ago. According to John Meagher of the Montreal Gazette, an infant named Beatrice Dompierre was struck by a puck tossed into the stands by the Canadiens defenseman at an open practice. The puck reportedly bounced off a different fan before hitting Dompierre on the head.

According to Sean Farrell of NHL.com, Dompierre spent that night at the hospital.

Obviously, Subban felt bad about the incident. The gesture was done to try to make fans smile, but it wound up with an unlucky ending.

Subban has always been one to give back and do what he can to help the community. When the opportunity arose, he was more than happy to meet the two-month-old baby and see for himself that she was all right.

The Canadiens hosted the family for the team's 4-3 win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night, and after the game Subban spent some time hanging out with them. ...
