Canucks-Preds: The IceMan’s Game Card

This is not so much about the game but about the inconsistency of the Nucks this year, although I did mock up a game card. For the first time this year the Canucks finally played a second period where they dominated instead of the usual opposite. It was a treat to see and this time it could not be blamed on playing a team that was not rested, as the Predators had been in town enjoying a nice three days off. Maybe that's the trick to it, just like Washington was sitting around here in Vancouver for three days before they played and the Nucks pulled that one out also. With one more game on the homestand, do the fans shudder at the prospect at playing the Oilers, who would represent a bottom team that the Nucks should beat? That picture has revealed itself too many times this year where the opposition has come out the winner. I said before this home stand that the Canucks would have to win at least seven of eight, but it looks like the best might be is six of eight, to get back into the playoff picture.
