Eric Engels of Sportsnet reported Price skated for the first time since suffering the injury on Saturday morning.
Therrien Comments on Price's Playing Status
Tuesday, Nov. 10
"Carey won't play this week, but he's responding well to treatment," said Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien. "We're hoping to see him back soon."
Therrien also confirmed that Price got a second opinion in New York but received the same diagnosis that he did in Montreal. Engels reported Price sought the second opinion because he was uncomfortable with the treatment.
