Chicago Blackhawks’ Brain Campbell a Game Time Decision for Game Four

April 22nd, 2010 by Michael Wagner Leave a reply »
After the Chicago Blackhawks morning skate, the Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville announced that defenseman Brian Campbell will be a game time decision for game four against the Nashville Predators

Campbell has been out of the lineup since March 14th when he was viciously put into the end boards by Washington's Alexander Ovechkin.

During the regular season Campbell had an average season scoring 38 points in 62 games and a plus-minus rating of +18.

The absence of Campbell has been noticeable from the Blackhawks blueline, as they have missed his offensive punch, puck moving capabilities, and help on the power play.

The return of Campbell could be an important boost to the Blackhawks lineup that has looked below average, attempting to produce offense and getting their power play started.

Even though it will be a game time decision as to if Campbell can go, it seems almost certain that we will get a chance to see Campbell during this playoffs whether that be tonight or in game five back in Chicago.
