Edmonton Oilers Sign Andrew Cogliano to One-Year Deal

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that Andrew Cogliano and the Edmonton Oilers have agreed on a one-year deal worth $1 million.

Cogliano, who has been mentioned in many trade rumours in the past, is entering his fourth season with the team. He scored 10 goals and 18 assists in 82 games last year.

Cogliano was the third of a trio of RFA's to sign, after Gilbert Brule and Sam Gagner signed earlier in the summer. The small speedster found his ice time reduced significantly last year and there were whispers that he was unhappy with the way he was being treated and some questioned if Tambellini was even interested in resigning him.
