According to sources within the Wild organization, Pierre Marc-Bouchard will be attending this year's training camp to be held starting September 17th.
After suffering from symptoms due to a concussion that kept him out all last season, Bouchard has reportedly made "significant" progress this summer on his efforts to rejoin the team.
Spending his summer near Montreal, Bouchard was cleared for light workouts earlier this summer and according to sources, has been skating.
It would be a much needed boost to the Wild. Bouchard has been a solid 50 point contributor for the Wild, including a career high 63 points (13-50=60) in the 2007-08 season.
Bouchard would add some great scoring as well as a passing touch to a Wild offense on the verge of climbing.
With the offseason additions of Eric Nystrom (Calgary) and Minnesota native Matt Cullen (Carolina), Bouchard could be put anywhere on the top two lines as well as spend time on the power-play where he was most dangerous.
According to Micheal Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Bouchard was participating in full gear workouts and scrimmages.
