The fairy tale season of the Montreal Canadiens seems to be taking a turn towards a sad ending.
If things continue the way they have in the beginning of this series, there will be no prince on a white horse (or in a white uniform) to sweep them into the playoffs.
The prince was thought to be Halak, the goalie that has been elevated to hero status in Montreal after his performances. Unfortunately, he seems to have run out of gas after two hard series’ against the Pens and Capitals.
But have no fear, Habs fans. Game three in the final makes its way back to home ice. Why is this comforting, you ask?
The move back home brings an extra player to the lineup. If all goes as planned, the Habs will have a one man advantage during the whole game made up of over 21,000 people.
