TSN reports that Jaroslav Halak has indeed been dealt to the St Louis Blues in exchange for prospects Lars Eller and Ian Schultz.
Halak is obviously known for his miraculous performances with the Canadiens this past post-season, where he carried the Habs in to the Eastern Conference Final.
Eller had 57 points in the AHL with the Peoria Rivermen (St. Louis' farm team).
Schultz recorded 55 points in 70 games played this past season with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.
St. Louis will now have to come to terms with the Restricted Free Agent Halak.
Philadelphia, San Jose and Tampa Bay were believed to also be strong suitors for Halak.

A lot of Montreal fans are up in arms about this deal. Not so much about the return for Halak, but more so on the decision to choose Carey Price over the Slovakian net-minder. Still, there are many naysayers out there who believe Gauthier could have landed the Habs a better package. That may not be the case.
