Change has been a widespread word thrown around this past Summer. Not the type of change you would anticipate to hear on MSNBC or FOX News, but more of the change the NHL Network has been speaking of.
The Chicago Blackhawks roster has been rearranged in more ways than one, and Jeremy Morin desires to be part of that change.
At only 19 years old, Morin was attained in an epic trade that sent Stanley Cup champions Dustin Byfuglien, Ben Eager and Brent Sopel to the Atlanta Thrashers.
Morin himself is incredibly energized to hopefully be a part of this movement for the Blackhawks.
The first step has already been taken at a prospects camp tournament that besides future Blackhawks hopefuls, featured youngsters from the Penguins, Senators and Maple Leafs.
Prior to the deal being made, Morin was a player the Blackhawks always had their eyes on.
Blackhawks assistant general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff claimed that they scouted Morin very heavily in his draft year.
A natural goal-scorer, Morin was drafted quickly in the second round of the 2009 Entry Draft.
