John Scott Is Slowly Punching His Way Into Chicago Blackhawks Fans Hearts

The Blackhawks this season are slowly building chemistry and an identity coming off of the personality driven championship team of last season.

Over the past few seasons in Chicago the fans have been treated to some lovable tough guys in the "Indian Sweater".

Whether it was James Wisniewski who would get in a fight after the game had ended only to get injured in the process, or Adam Burish willing to drop the gloves even in a situation with larger and stronger opponents facing certain doom.

Yes, the Blackhawks have been lucky in that department. Now Atlanta Thrashers, Dustin Byfuglien and Ben Eager were often eager (no pun intended) participants in the tussles. But, for many these two often drifted from their fighting roots in favor of finesse games on occasion, and were not pure fighters in the traditional sense of the term.

But it appears that the Blackhawks have a player on their team whose soul mission and purpose in the NHL is to inflict intimidation and pain on wanna-be tough guys.

Standing 6'8" and tipping the scales at nearly 260 pounds, John Scott certainly does not take much harassment from anyone in the NHL. Per ...
