The single most talked about Toronto Maple Leaf since the departure of former captain Mats Sundin, may be staying with the team after all.
Despite incessant rumors to the contrary, the Tornto Sun is reporting that Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke has indicated that he expects Tomas Kaberle to be with the team next season.
Kaberle, who has one year left on his contract, has also regularily indicated hi desire to stay with the team.
Maple Leafs head coach Ron Wilson also expects his veteran d-man to return.
"Hopefully he will be back " Wilson told the Sun, " He has a role carrying the puck and on the powerplay. We have other guys who concentrate on the defensive aspects of the game on our blue line."
It seems as though the only peopple who don't think Kabby will be back, are the fans.
