According to Andrew Gross of the Bergin Record, the New York Rangers have recalled forward P.A. Parenteau and defenseman Anders Eriksson from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Parenteau, who celebrated his 27th birthday this past Wednesday, has already played 14 games on Broadway this season and has notched one goal and three assists.
In 35 games with the Wolf Pack this season, he has posted 20 goals and 25 assists.
Eriksson, 35, has made quite a few stops during his NHL career.
Most recently he played for the Phoenix Coyotes and was acquired March 3 this year for goaltender Miika Wiikman and a seventh round draft pick.
In 12 games with the Coyotes this season, he has three assists and had three assists in eight games with the Wolf Pack since being acquired.
These moves are most likely just to provide depth for the Rangers, as they played games in back-to-back days and will play another game tomorrow.
Also, Ryan Callahan is questionable for tomorrow’s game. If or when they fail to miss the playoffs, there probably will be additional call-ups.
