Boston Bruins forward Marc Savard is out indefinitely as he is still suffering from post-concussion syndrome. There is no set timetable for his return but as of now it doesn't look very good.
My Take: Hopefully Savard has a speedy recovery and returns to the ice soon. In the meantime the No. 1 center position is available with David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron set to battle for it.
Tomas Kaberle has sat down with Ron Wilson and there doesn't appear to be any problems between the two. Wilson told the media that Tomas Kaberle will likely only play one out of the first five preseason games., and at least three out of the last four preseason games.
My Take: I am glad everything appears to be healed between the two. Now Kaberle and Wilson can focus and prepare for the upcoming season.
Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Brent Seabrook may be the Blackhawks' next target to lockup long term. He notes that Seabrook is an RFA next season and is making $3.5 million this season.
My Take: I think Seabrook will want a raise so he will probably end up around the $4 million per year area. I expect he will sign a ...
