NHL Picks: Tuesday November 30

Five games in the NHL tonight, including a big game between San Jose and Detroit. Will the Sharks take care of business on home ice? Can Stamkos get back on track in his home town? Will the Thrashers keep it rolling? Should be an interesting night on the ice.

Tampa Bay at Toronto

Steven Stamkos has been slumping recently, but this is a homecoming of sorts for him (he grew up in the Toronto area). The Leafs are having trouble generating offense lately, and the Lightning own them recently. I like Stamkos and Tampa Bay to get things going early and often tonight.

Phoenix at Nashville

The Predators are struggling recently having dropped five of their last seven games, while the Coyotes just got thrashed by the Ducks. I like the Coyotes to bounce back here against the Preds. We saw earlier in the season that Phoenix matches up well against Nashville, and with some of the Predators top contributors banged up it will be tough for them to generate offense against a tough Coyote defense.
