NHL Rumors: Latest Trade Buzz Surrounding Dion Phaneuf, Roberto Luongo and More

After a wild end to the Stanley Cup Final and the lockout-shortened season, the NHL offseason has started, and the rumors surrounding potential trades has the hockey world at a fever pitch.

Add in the fact that the draft is less than a week away (Sunday, June 30), and huge names like Toronto Maple Leafs' defender Dion Phaneuf and Vancouver Canucks' goalie Roberto Luongo are reportedly on the trade block.

All of the following players could potentially be on the move this offseason if these rumors come to fruition.

 

Dion Phaneuf On His Way Out of Toronto?



After the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired goaltender Jonathan Bernier from the Los Angeles Kings, per Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star, the talk that the franchise is not making deals has only increased as general manager Dave Nonis continued to leave all possibilities on the table.
