Peter Bojarinov Says: “It’s Time For More Change For the Toronto Maple Leafs”

Changes are coming for the Toronto Maple Leafs and these are some that I believe should be addressed:



Ron Wilson needs to go: He’s driven the team only further into the ground. Two years ago the squad was a borderline playoff team, this was at the time a very mediocre squad. Since then Brian Burke has come and revamped the entire Maple Leaf squad, he built it from the back end up.

You could say on paper they are a much better team than their old version and Wilson has only shown how to throw his younger players under the bus. Ron has yet to call a real time out when needed, to give the team a lesson during the game or even a break.

I’m not sure which coach is the answer, but having an intellectual coach like Ken Hitchcock is a good start. The Leafs currently lack enough offense skill, and supposedly have a strong defensive team and good speed from the forwards, and the trap type system might be old news for today’s NHL, but could be good news to the current make up of the Leafs.



The team needs more experience: Either a coach or time will give them some experience.
