Philadelphia Flyers Take Commanding Lead, Head To Montreal

We are now two games in to the Conference Finals in the NHL, and so far in the East, the Philadelphia Flyers have taken a comfortable lead on their opponents, the Montreal Canadiens. Well, comfortable might be an understatement since the Flyers are embarrassing the Habs.

What's interesting about the Flyers' play as of late is how it follows the pattern of their roller-coaster-esque play in this year's post-season.

Let's review.

Round One: The Flyers beat the second seeded Devils in five games. Solid.

Round Two: Flyers lost the first three games of the series to the Bruins, only to make history by winning the next four. Wow.

Round Three: Flyers won the first two games by shutting out Montreal with a combined score of 9-0. Amazing.

Round Four: Who knows what they're going to pull off?

Looking back over their achievements so far in the playoffs, the Flyers have been up and down, exciting and embarrassing, and in the end of the day downright unstoppable.
