According to Andrew Gross, Rangers Tribune, and WKBW the New York Rangers should announce the signing of young forward Tim Kennedy very soon.
Kennedy was waived, and bought-out of his contract by the Sabres about two weeks ago. Around that time I wrote an article (if you remember) stating that the Rangers would sign Tim Kennedy.
I am not going to brag, but I think it's worth a cheer.
Contract details according to NHL.com:
one-year contract, one-way (only playing in NHL), and $550,000. Being a one-way deal this leaves me to believe that another move is in the makings as I write (and you read). Perhaps a deal sending three, four forwards for a rough defenseman and some draft picks.
What do you think? Will another move be made? If so what will it be?
