Zach Parise Injury: Updates on Wild Wing’s Lower Body and Return

The Minnesota Wild can ill afford to lose superstar left winger Zach Parise, but he left Thursday’s contest against the Nashville Predators after suffering a lower-body injury.

Latest on Parise's Status Saturday, Nov. 7  The Wild announced Parise suffered a sprained right knee, and will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.  

Yeo, Fletcher Comment on Parise's Status Saturday, Nov. 7 Head coach Mike Yeo said Parise would miss at least a couple of games, but wouldn't call the winger "month-to-month," per Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune: 

While that would rule out a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament, Yeo was unable or unwilling to get more specific when providing a timeframe for just how long the Wild’s best scorer will be sidelined.

“I don’t think it’s going to be multiple weeks, I don’t think it’s going to be months. And I’m not a doctor,” Yeo said.
