Korver Among Multiple Hawks Available

According to ESPN.com's Brian Windhorst and Marc Stein, the Hawks are open to trading Korver, Thabo Sefolosha and Paul Millsap, all of whom can become free agents during the offseason.
The 35-year-old Korver is averaging 9.6 points per game this season and shooting 41.2 percent from downtown, which is up from his 39.9 percent rate last year but well down from the sizzling 49.2 percent he shot in 2014-15.
Korver is in the midst of his fifth season with the Hawks after previous stints with the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls.
He is among the most prolific three-point shooters in NBA history, as he ranks eighth in both career trifectas made and career three-point shooting percentage.

Auston Matthews was the overtime hero as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-4 in front of over 40,000 fans at Toronto's BMO Field in the 2017 Centennial Classic.
The outdoor game, a celebration of the NHL's 100th anniversary, started slowly, with just one goal through the first two periods. The dam broke in the third, with the Leafs building a 4-1 lead before the Red Wings fought back to tie, scoring two goals in the last 1:46 of regulation with goaltender Jared Coreau on the bench for the extra attacker.
Anthony Mantha was awarded the equalizer, his second goal of the game, with just 1.1 seconds left on the clock, forcing the three-on-three showdown and setting up Matthews' heroics. P.K. Subban Injury: Predators D Placed on IR with Injured Upper Body

The Nashville Predators placed defenseman P.K. Subban on injured reserve Sunday with an upper-body injury, according to Brooks Bratten and Thomas Willis of the team's official website.
Doctors will re-evaluate Subban in two to three weeks to determine when he might get back on the ice. On Tuesday, Bratten noted that Subban is optimistic about the recovery timeline.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Dec. 31 that Subban's injury is thought to be a herniated disk.
The 27-year-old came to Nashville this offseason in a trade for Shea Weber.
Subban had spent the first six years in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens, going to two All-Star Games while winning the Norris Trophy in 2013 as the best defenseman in the league. He finished with at least 40 assists in each of the last three seasons, including 45 this past season.

The St. Louis weather forecast for Monday looks dreary and rainy, and that would put a damper on the NHL's annual showcase regular-season event.

A year-and-a-half ago, he was ejected from the Milwaukee Bucks' Game 6 blowout playoff loss for tackling Mike Dunleavy into the courtside seats.
